On March 29th, Igor, a father, a friend, was in a terrible accident. He's in the burn unit now. The road ahead is long. His friends built this page so his community can show up for him the way he's always shown up for us.
About Igor
Igor has always been a kind-hearted, caring person who shows up for the people around him. He's a father of two little kids. Now it's our turn to show up for him.
On March 29th, he was caught in a fire when scalding hot liquid splashed over much of his body, including both arms, both legs, his torso, his back, and parts of his face. By some miracle, the fire did not damage his throat or lungs. He has severe burns covering about 50% of his body, first through third degree.
He's expected to be hospitalized for about two months and will undergo multiple skin graft surgeries. His kids need their dad. His family needs help keeping the lights on while he heals.
